- All Simraceway OEM vehicle maintenance shall be performed in accordance with guidelines prescribed by manufacturers.
- Coordinating vehicles needing repair / servicing. Arranging for onsite fix or transportation to dealership depending on vehicle condition
- Ensuring meticulous logs of all cars based (vehicle list, overall condition of vehicles, issue list, repair history, fuel logs, mileage logs, tire averages etc)
- Ordering spare parts, tires and supplies and keeping purchase logs
- Creating POs pertaining the fleet where necessary to be signed off by program directors
- Overall vehicle logistics and transportation, including assist in finding space for storage of fleet during major Sonoma Raceway events to ensure fleet is secure either off-site or onsite (parking, vehicle storage, transportation).
- Liaising with Simraceway’s race shop to find space for vehicles both parties and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for both programs to run parallel.
- Vehicle livery – finding vendor, obtaining quotes, production and install
- Coordinating with vendors for any repairs or other services

Event days:
- Vehicle coordination for all McLaren and other potential manufacturer events – ensuring enough cars are prepped for events and briefing tech team on requirements for each event

Technician Training Program (TTP) Manager

A. Overview:
The Technicians Training Program Manager (“TTP”) will work directly with leadership to evolve and relaunch our legacy technical training program - the Mechanics Training Program (“MTP”) for the next chapter of the Automotive industry. The MTP program has graduated over 2,500 mechanics to date. However, it’s next version - TTP - is expanding beyond the traditional scope of the program, which has largely focused on race car mechanical training. The new program will retain the race car mechanical training but expand to also include areas such as technical training for premium automotive streetcar equipment, Electric vehicles and Autonomous Vehicles (a particular focus). The program will also offer instruction on critical adjacent areas, such as advanced driving, training to become a driving instructor and general business management.
Graduates of the new program are likely to find themselves working for the best and the brightest brands in the future automotive and motorsport ecosystem. Including for own brands (Simraceway Performance Driving, T1 Club and Special Vehicle Operations) and those of our key partners, who are expanding aggressively over the next 3 years. This program is being specifically redesigned and expanded to meet this need.
The TTP Manager will be an essential Management position at Simraceway PDC. He or She will be responsible for leading the design and implementing of all aspects of the new program, working closely with two other new roles. It also holds opportunity to progress quickly to a director level role.
A qualified candidate should be self-motivated, of an entrepreneurial disposition, and have excellent
communication skills. The candidate must also be willing to accept new challenges, be able to complete

- Ensure that the pit, kart shop and track areas remain clean and safe
- Assist the track crew with track operations in limited situations
- Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
- Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day's operation
- During non-karting activity down times, work on other vehicles as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or combination of education and experience
- At least two years kart mechanic experience
- Certification by Rotax is a plus

TRACK MARSHALL
Overview:
As Track Marshall you will be responsible for proactively marshalling of all kart track events, looking after karts, the racing circuit and providing exceptional customer service. The Track Marshal is responsible for the overall organization and operation of Open Practice at the Simraceway Performance Karting Center. The Track Marshall is particularly concerned with issues involving safety and the enforcement of the rules, but should also contribute to a more enjoyable and efficient karting experience for all participants.

Essential Job Functions:
- Instructing customers on safe usage of the karts, kart track, paddock area and pit lane.
- Supervising/monitoring customers on the track, paddock area and pit lane.
- Getting karts prepared in the morning for each kart event; opening track on time for public.
- Operate track equipment; check safety and conditions of the track; safety of truck – debris, tires, etc; assist drivers and maintain the track, karts and the venue as directed.
- Observe and supervise all on-track driving session
- Communicate and enforce all rules and regulations
- Collect payment and waiver signatures from customers prior to entering track
- Assess the track surface condition and maintain a safe driving environment
- Observe competitors for driving behavior and their karts' mechanical condition
- Assist drivers that break down or are involved in an accident
- Provide course information to drivers with racing flags and signals
- Ensure that all required equipment (fire extinguisher, brooms, oil dry) and vehicles (kart retrieval atv with trailer) are in place and ready to respond to an incident at a moment’s notice
- Communicate information to Simraceway management in a timely manner
- Cashier; coordination of signing of waivers.
