Affordable Formula Racing on Multiple Tracks
Simraceway‘s pioneering open-wheel series is back for the summer of 2015 with a new name and a third West Coast circuit awaiting its drivers. Following sold-out summer and winter championships, the 2015 Simraceway F3 Summer Racing Series promises to be the most exciting yet.
The series’ industry-leading training car, the Lola Simraceway Formula 3 offers drivers a stimulating, super-safe introduction to competitive, open-wheel racing.
Our unique, modular approach to pricing, which allows competitors to control their costs, brings formula racing firmly within reach with prices starting at $1,495!
The series visits Sonoma Raceway, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and Buttonwillow Raceway Park for 7 race weekends, each including 2 races with full qualifying sessions.

Speed is the most common measurement of how a race car performs. However, an equally-important–and often overlooked–component is that of safety.
Being the fastest, most capable school racing cars around, our Lola Simraceway Formula 3 racers perform amazingly on the track. However, unlike many other school cars, they also comply with the FIA’s strict crash safety standards.
Built of carbon-fiber, their one-piece monocoque shells are strong enough to withstand extreme impacts with little deformation. These “survival cells”, combined with front and rear crash boxes, make them one of the safest vehicles in racing.
The Simraceway F3 Racing Series’ unique, modular pricing model allows entrants to take complete control of their costs, without compromising safety or competitiveness. The elements below can be purchased separately, depending upon each driver’s requirements.
|Qualifying session and race||$1,495|
|Additional tire sets||$1,395 per set|
|Practice sessions||$695 per session|
|Crash damage insurance (caps liability at $4,750 per incident)||$795 per day|
|VIP guest hospitality (includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks)||$50|
|Away race premium (applies to events away from Sonoma Raceway)||$750 per race|
|Procrastination Fee (applied when booked less than 30 days from a race date)||25% increase to all fees|
Competitors are responsible for all crash damage. However, liability can be limited to $4,750 per incident with the $795 purchase of a full day of crash damage insurance. We strongly advise competing drivers to consider taking this insurance out for practice sessions as well as on race days. Please contact us for more information.
The Simraceway Championship
All races carry points for the Simraceway Championship. Drivers wishing to compete in this championship must complete at least 10 of the 14 scheduled races. Those entering more than 10 races will have their best 10 scores used when calculating the final standings.
